Meet The Teachers
Mrs. Magallanes
Apple Certified Teacher email: [email protected] Hello! I am Dee Magallanes. I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade ELA this year. I have held many hats in my teaching career. Most recently I was the ESL director and Lead Literacy Teacher. Before that I was a Reading Specialist that specialized in working with students and helping teachers hone their craft. During that time I also worked with students diagnosing and providing intervention to students with dyslexia. I have taught many grades during my fifteen years in education. I am also an instructor at the Houston Community College. I work in Education and Early Childhood. I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and my undergraduate degree in Education from McNeese State University. I am married to my wonderful husband and together we have a wonderful daughter who is attending TK this year at The Honor Roll School. |

MS. KHOJA
Science/Social Studies Apple Certified Teacher email: [email protected] Hello! My name is Narmin Khoja and I will be your 3rd grade Science/Social Studies teacher. This is my fourth year at The Honor Roll School. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000 and have lived in College Station, TX for most of my life. I realized my passion for teaching and began substitute teaching at The Honor Roll School a few years ago. This will be my third year teaching 3rd grade science. At home I have two daughters who also attend 3rd and 4th grade at The Honor Roll School. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, reading a good book, and spending time with my family. My goal for this year is for our students to use a hands on approach in learning science as well as real life application. I look forward to a year full of adventure and discovery! |
